Village Pediatrics provides a patient-focused primary care pediatrician to children of all backgrounds ages 0-21. At Village Pediatrics, you will be listened to, respected, and comforted. We want the best possible outcome for your baby.
Sick Child Medicine
Do you need an appointment today? Is you child exhibiting symptoms that you are not comfortable with? We address acute medical concerns for established patients today. Give us a call. We schedule appointments starting at 9:00AM, or you can walk in from 8-9AM.
We always like to say that nobody knows a child’s health like their parents. If you are concerned, call us or log in for nursing advice or to book a same day appointment. We want to care for your child as quickly as possible when they are sick. We reserve more than half of our schedule for acute needs and same day appointments. As a result, more than half of all the children we care for booked their appointment today.
Well Child Medicine
Babies should be evaluated by a pediatrician at discharge, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 12 months, 15 months, 18 months, 2 years, 30 months and 3 years. All other children are seen annually to address health concerns and to make sure they are able to participate in strenuous activities such as sports or camp.
Village Pediatrics will complete school and camp forms and prescription refills at no charge, so long as your child is up to date on their well child checkups and medication management visits. If your child is not up to date, they must have a physical or medication management visit before forms or prescription refills can be completed.
Self Pay Services
Are you uninsured? Do you go to the hospital or emergency room for medical care because you’re uninsured? Village Pediatrics and Zepherella want to help. That’s why we’re offering discounts to self pay patients who book their appointment using Zepherella. Uninsured patients who pay at the time of service don’t require a claim or a monthly invoice, which makes a lot less paperwork for our office. Our pediatricians want to pass the savings along to you, the uninsured patient, through our partner Zepherella. When you call us at 919.969.9611 to schedule an appointment, just tell us you’re a self pay and we’ll quote you the expected charges as well as the discount you’ll receive.
Other Services
In addition to Acute and Wellness Medicine services, Village Pediatrics offers a board certified pediatrician on call 24/7/365. Please call the office phone after hours to be directed to the on call pager.
Village Pediatrics Events
Village Pediatrics is a community focused practice, participating in educational events all over Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Pittsboro, Durham, and other parts of both the Triad and Triangle of North Carolina.
